Racing Legacy: From F1 Glory to EV Ambassador
Mika Salo emerged from Helsinki to conquer the world of motorsports. Starting in karting, his talent propelled him through Formula series, earning notice in the late ’80s. His Formula One voyage kicked off with Lotus in ’94, marking the start of a distinguished career with subsequent teams. The pinnacle came when he substituted for Michael Schumacher at Ferrari. Post-Formula One, Salo embraced endurance racing, excelling in series like the FIA GT. His enduring impact extends beyond the track as a mentor to emerging talents, solidifying his legacy as a Finnish racing legend. He has also been an F1 commentator and host on TV.
