Description

The electrical central unit is moisture-resistant, but should still be installed in a dry place on board the vessel. Make sure the connectors point downwards.

The el-central has 1 or 2 DEFA PlugIn male inlets and 3 PlugIn female outlets. The inlet is connected through a 16A earth-leakage circuit breaker switch. One of the outlets provides constant voltage, while the other two are connected via a switch. All connectors are located on one side. The ground contact is connected to a cathode-protected diode bridge, which reduces corrosion when connected to shore power.

Installation
DEFA recommends fastening the el-centrals using the mounting feets, item number 719405. Equipment damage and possible injuries may result from an incomplete understanding of the installation and operation of the el-central. If you are unfamiliar with electrical systems: consult us, a dealer or a licensed electrician.

Maintenance
Check the Residual Current Breaker function once a year.
