Y connector
DEFA Y connector is used in connection of DEFA PlugIn cables.
Description
To connect the interior heater and engine heater.
Technical description
DEFA AS conforms to the requirements of both ISO 9001- 2008, ISO 14001:2004 and OHSAS 18001:2007. In addition, our engine heaters and cables conform to the requirements of ISO/TS 16949:2002.
Mounting
Contains contact rails only to secure the electrical connections.
The engine heater must only be connected to an extension cable. NOT directly to the Y-connector (A).
In order to avoid mechanical stress and splashing from the road, The DEFA PlugIn Y-connector must not be installed under the engine.
Fasten the Y-connector using cable ties max 5,0 cm on the cable from the PlugIn contact (B). Do not bend the cable closer than 5,0c m from the PlugIn contact (C).
