When Norwegian SpareBank 1 Hallingdal Valdres expanded with the ambition of creating a sustainable workplace certified to BREEAM Excellent standards, smart and reliable EV charging was a natural part of the investment. Together with the technology and broadband company Bruse, 31 DEFA Power S chargers were installed – an innovative charging solution with an integrated cable, user-friendly display, and robust design built for Nordic conditions. The complete solution included solar panels, fiber installation, and a comprehensive EV charging system.

Bruse – a company that provides infrastructure and services related to internet, energy, and everyday digital life – chose DEFA Power S, installed both outdoors on poles and inside the parking garage.

The result? A simpler, more convenient, and future-proof everyday experience for employees.

“DEFA has roots in Nesbyen, so it is a local supplier that has been important for Bruse,” says Amanda Erika Myrsell from Bruse, adding: “We chose DEFA Power because it is an innovative and very nice charging station with a large, clear display that is user-friendly for customers.”

SpareBank 1 Hallingdal has a goal: to shape the workplace of the future with a strong focus on sustainability and smart energy solutions.

The new building extension has achieved BREEAM Excellent – a demanding certification for sustainable buildings. In this context, including modern EV charging facilities was a natural decision.
