Fees and terms

Availability

Subscription-based WarmUp Link and Finder Link services are only available in Norway, Sweden, Finland and Denmark. WarmUp Bluetooth® is available in other markets and requires no subscription.

Subscription fees:

Norway

One time fee for new subscriptions: 250,- NOK.

Per year: 705,- NOK.

The subscription includes unlimited use. Subscriptions are pre-paid yearly.

Sweden

One time fee for new subscriptions: 294,- SEK.

Per year: 921,- SEK.

The subscription includes unlimited use. Subscriptions are pre-paid yearly.

Finland

One time fee for new subscriptions: 28 €.

Per year: 96 €.

The subscription includes unlimited use. Subscriptions are pre-paid yearly.

Availability

Link is only available for persons living in Norway, Sweden, Finland, and Denmark.

Go to the App Store or to the Google Play to see which iOS or Android versions are currently supported. Please note that OS requirements are subject to change without notification.

Billing:

Subscriptions are pre-paid every year with automatic renewal. Invoices will be sent to your registered email address.

WarmUp Link uses GPRS for communication between your phone and the Link Hub. GPRS traffic has a set price included in the subscription fee.

Installation

Installations of WarmUp Link must be performed by a certified mechanic .

Subscription and customer account

If you already have a subscription, go to Log in.

A subscription is required to use the system. You must, therefore, submit your user data. You can subscribe and edit your account here or here. Our network provider is Telenor. The dealership or your installer can also create a subscription and account for you.

During registration, you will receive an email and a text message where you must accept our terms and conditions.

NOTE! If a Link unit remains without an active subscription for six months or more, the unit will no longer work! This is because network providers regularly withdraw and terminate numbers that are not in use. The customer will be responsible for the cost of a new installation and subscription

User name and password

When creating your account, you will be asked to create a user name and a password. If the installer creates the account, your login information will be sent to you by mail.

If you forget your login information, you can restore access by going to «Forgot username» and «Forgot password» here: Log in.

Be aware that your login information is the same for the subscription as in the app.

Terminating the subscription:

The customer can cancel the subscription via written notice to DEFA. The subscription will be terminated at the end of the subsequent calendar month. When we have been notified, you will then receive a text message in which you must confirm the termination.

Transfer the subscription to a new user

When selling a car the new owner should be informed about the DEFA WarmUp GPS Link system, and that the subscription can be transferred.

As the new owner, you can check if the number for the link Link Hub unit has been terminated with the unit serial number here. The serial number can be located under the lid of the unit, and on the link HUB decal in the glove compartment.
